The 4th graders The 4th graders finished up their chapters in Nebraska history and math this week with a test. (When we get those graded... I'll give you more info about the results..if they are good. :)) We also recently started learning about plants in science. We're studying how to classify plants. We're also learning about all the different parts of a flower that help it live and reproduce. They have been collecting and saving the "high-fives" that Mrs. Metschke and Miss Schacht hand out for all their good behavior and success in the classroom. Some 4th graders have been turning in their high-fives to receive a reward. Kellen Mlnarik chose to sit in Mrs. Metschke's desk during a lesson this week. Keep up the good work, 4th graders! Keep earning those high-fives! The 4th graders have been working hard since the beginning of the year to earn their "class award." Each time the 4th graders get recognized as a class for having positive behavior, they earn one letter to go toward spelling out an entire sentence. They finished the sentence on Tuesday!! So they will be receiving a reward in the near future! ALL the 4th graders got an A or a B on the math test over multiplication meanings and facts!!!
